ABS Excavating Ltd. was the general contractor on the City of Saskatoon project Neault Road Primary Water Main Phase 1 in 2019. The job entailed installing 1300 linear meters of 600mm C900 Primary Water Main including two valve chambers and 150 linear meters of 900mm DR11. In 2021, we were then awarded the 2nd phase of the job which included 500 linear meters of C900 Primary Water Main, 200 linear meters of 300-450mm Storm Sewer complete with 5 open cut highway crossings.

Lloydminster NW Drainage Project
ABS Excavating Ltd. was awarded a contract in the City of Lloydminster as the general contractor, this was a NW Drainage Project where we moved over 60,000 cubic meters of earth embankment. We completed all area grading and topsoil removal and replacement. We also installed 20,000 square meters of Pyramatting for erosion control.

Martensville 3rd Avenue South Sanitary Replacement
In 2020, ABS Excavating Ltd. completed a replacement project for the City of Martensville where we removed and replaced 3 city blocks of 200mm and 250mm SDR35 Sanitary Sewer as well as had over 30 short connections to the cities new main complete with a Sanitary Sewer bypass during construction. This also required us to complete the road reconstruction of the street.

In 2021, ABS Excavating Ltd. was general contractor for the Langham 5th Avenue Water Main Replacement where we supplied and installed 330 linear meters of 250mm C900 Water Main including 14 service connections to the residents with temporary water, complete with a Water Main Bypass for the Water Treatment Plant to supply the town, and 4 tie ins to existing Water Main and installation of 1 hydrant.

In 2019, ABS Excavating Ltd. was a subcontractor where we were awarded the entire civil construction scope including all Water, Sewer and Storm tie ins, including 2 oil and grit separators. This 175,000 square foot warehouse building required us to complete all detailed building excavation, subgrade and gravel preparation.
